45 hours and counting

Our flight is coming up soon! The good-byes have been hard, so I've been pretending that they aren't real. Denial is working so far, but I have a feeling it will catch up to me soon. We have had a lot of late nights of packing and long days of tying up loose ends. Aparently, moving to another country causes some aspects of life to be more complicated than before.
Thanks to all of you who have wished us well on our journey. We have really enjoyed reconnecting with you (which is ironic since our plan is to geographically disconnect).
Peace,
Mandy

We love you and will miss you!

You are leading an epic life...
Deitrich Bonhoeffer taught that freedom comes only through action. He believed that we must step out beyond anxious waiting and into the “storm of events,” that there are times in life when we play it safe, hedge, procrastinate, or in other ways avoid stepping out "into the storm of events." We do it out of a constraining fear that robs our life of energy. Bonhoeffer, and Jesus long before him, advocated risking whatever must be risked to become action-oriented, that there is a time when we must act, a time when we must step into "the storm of events." Bonhoeffer said those moments lead to freedom.
